Our vision for sustainability
At Arbetsskydd Express, we actively work on our sustainability. There is a major global transition underway to minimize humanity's impact on the planet, and it is a process we both want and must participate in. We take our responsibility seriously, and our goal is to drive a sustainable and developable business, to be proactive in our suppliers' sustainability efforts, and to inspire and be a role model for our customers and partners.
We are inspired by the UN's global goals for sustainable development and have identified four of them that guide us when setting our objectives and ethical guidelines: Decent work and economic growth (Goal 8), Industry, innovation, and infrastructure (Goal 9), Responsible consumption and production (Goal 12), and Climate action (Goal 13).UN's Global Goals

Our Sustainability Work
Sustainability is a natural part of our way of working – in everything from product development and supplier relationships to working environment and resource use. We work systematically to reduce our impact, take social responsibility, and develop in line with the demands of our surroundings.
For those who want to know more about how we think and what we do in practice, we have compiled our work in an open summary.
How we work with our suppliers
It is important for us to promote fair working conditions and respect for human rights throughout our supply chain. We expect our suppliers to also take good care of their employees. Therefore, we set clear requirements for all those we work with to take social responsibility. By signing our Code of conduct, they commit to following our policy, which includes requirements for a safe and healthy working environment, respect for freedom of association, and a ban on child and forced labor.
To ensure that the principles are upheld, third-party audits are conducted by the independent and world-leading organization SGS.
How we work internally
We strive to create a workplace where our employees feel comfortable. Therefore, we offer good working conditions and a safe and secure work environment. We invest in skills development and promote opportunities for career growth. By providing training opportunities, we want to help our employees develop and achieve their goals.
To create an inclusive work environment where everyone feels respected and valued, we actively work with equality and diversity. We believe that diversity enriches our organization and helps us meet various challenges.
A Sustainable Choice
We strive for sustainability at all stages of our production to minimize our impact on the environment. Our products are made from sustainable, high-quality materials, and we continue to develop them to further raise the quality level. By offering quality workwear, we promote sustainable consumption. We actively work to reduce our environmental impact in all areas, including by minimizing the number of transports and being clear with our subcontractors that environmental adaptation is a requirement.
In all parts of the production chain, we regularly evaluate what we can do to reduce our environmental impact and greenhouse gas emissions. Future investments planned to be implemented within a five-year period include implementing a new measurement system that measures CO2 values down to the product level. We will also introduce recycling of textile fibers to reduce waste and resource depletion.
ISO Certified
We strive to maintain the highest standards through our transparent, structured, and active working methodology to meet the requirements for our ISO certifications 9001 (quality) and 14001 (environment). These certifications serve as a guarantee for our customers, who can be assured that our textiles and fabrics are free from harmful chemicals. We conduct regular and thorough third-party inspections at our factories to ensure that our products maintain a high and consistent quality. This dedication to quality and environmental responsibility permeates our entire operation and forms the foundation for the trust we seek to build with our customers.
On the way to a greener future
As part of our sustainability efforts, over 50% of our service vehicles are now powered by 100% electric drive. This transition is a step towards reducing emissions and contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment. It aligns with our ongoing commitment to adopt practices that contribute to long-term sustainability and environmental responsibility.
We continuously evaluate our operations to find new ways to minimize our environmental impact and prioritize sustainable choices wherever possible.
We are bringing production home
From distant horizons to our own backyard – We are bringing parts of our production back to Europe for a greener future. By minimizing transport distances, we reduce our ecological footprint and invest in a sustainable future. Our shift is more than geographical; it is a commitment to reduce emissions, promote local employment, and cultivate a sustainable production culture. Together, we are not only reshaping goods but also our promise to the planet. Welcome to a new era of sustainability where every action counts and every step is a journey towards a more responsible world.
