Balanced, lightweight helmet with optimal protection

The smooth ratchet adjustment makes the helmet fit most people comfortably. Equipped with a 4-point chin strap, integrated attachment for Guardio's hearing protection, and mounts for a headlamp. The helmet's integrated mounts for hearing protection are of a model that fits many of the other hearing protections on the market!

Mips protects the brain and reduces strain (stretching of the brain)

A low-friction layer that allows for a relative movement between the helmet and the head of 10-15 mm, which reduces the rotational movement on the brain.

This provides extra protection against certain types of impacts.

 

How Mips Protects the Brain

Historically, helmets have been designed to protect against direct impacts, primarily aimed at preventing skull fractures. However, angled impacts are a more common accident, yet current regulatory certification standards do not cover this type of injury risk, even though the human brain is more sensitive to rotational movements that occur during angled impacts compared to direct impacts.

Guardio's helmets are designed to reduce head rotation during certain angled impacts and thereby reduce the risk of brain injuries.
